Push notification token
Once your practice administrator has approved your EPCS access, the push notification on the ID.me Authenticator app is ready to be used to send controlled substances from the RXNT browser-based application.
As all providers are required to complete identity proofing with ID.me, the ID.me authenticator app is already active, therefore no activation process is required for the push notification once EPCS access is approved by the practice administrator.
When a provider is ready to send a controlled substance prescription, a push notification will be prompted on their mobile device to be approved or denied.
LiveID token
Once your practice administrator has approved your EPCS access, the LiveID token can be set up on the RXNT mobile app.
Log into the RXNT mobile app and select Clinical.
Tap Link LiveID Token at the top of the screen.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) must be completed with ID.me prior to setting up your LiveID token. Tap Verify with ID.me.
You will then receive a push notification from the ID.me Authenticator app, prompting you to approve the login request.
If a push notification does not appear on your screen, navigate directly to the ID.me Authenticator app to approve the login. Once complete, navigate back to the RXNT app.
After completing the push notification with the ID.me Authenticator app, tap Start LiveID Verification.
Make sure:
- You are in a well-lit area
- Remove glasses or hats
- Other faces are not visible in the background
- Avoid a light source behind you
Your device must have Touch ID or Face ID enabled to proceed.
Tap Start LiveID Scan. Hold the phone straight in front of your face and within the oval, then tap the white circle to capture the image.
