Approve EPCS Access

Once a provider submits their request for EPCS access, the request will be logged in the EPCS Token Queue for approval. Only practice administrators have access to the EPCS Token Queue.

To enhance the security of controlled substance prescribing and comply with the DEA regulations, second-party authorization is required for EPCS access. For added security, our system requires that a practice administrator other than the prescriber approve the request. This two-party verification helps prevent unauthorized access and ensures that prescribing practices align with regulatory requirements.

Solo-Practitioner?

RXNT maintains the EPCS approval policy requiring a second registered user, and offers the option to assign a practice administrator role without any product access. Click here to learn more about setting up practice administrators.
