Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Users have three options for multi-factor authentication: text message, email, or an authenticator app. If you can't access any of these options at the moment, you can log in using a recovery code. If you don’t have the recovery codes provided during MFA set up, your practice administrator can provide one to you. Read below to learn more.
Make sure your computer’s timezone is set correctly and configured to “Automatic.” Using a manual timezone setting might cause issues with MFA login.

A passkey offers a secure way to log in without using a traditional password. It allows you to log in to your account using a compatible device with fingerprint, face recognition, PIN code, or password manager.
Using a passkey makes signing in to RXNT:
- Faster – No need to type in your password each time; simply use your fingerprint, face, or device PIN.
- More secure – Passkeys are harder to steal or guess than traditional passwords, helping protect your RXNT account.
- Easier to manage – You don’t need to remember or reset passwords, reducing login frustration.
Passkeys work with your device’s built-in security (like Touch ID or Face ID), making your login experience smoother while keeping your account safe.
Passkey setup
Once you've finished setting up MFA, you'll get a prompt to set up a passkey. If you prefer not to set one up at the time, just click Skip. If you want to avoid being asked again on this device, feel free to select Do not ask me again on this device.
To proceed with passkey setup, enter a passkey name. This name will help you recognize it later. After entering a name, click Register. A passkey prompt will display natively on your device to set up the passkey.
RXNT does not recommend setting up passkeys on shared computers/devices.
You will see different options available depending on your device. For example, if you’re on a Windows computer, you may see options to use your computer’s fingerprint reader, Windows Hello, or your device PIN.
More than one passkey can be set up if you use multiple devices. You can add additional passkeys or manage your existing passkey in Account Setup. Click here to learn more!

IP access control
RXNT offers IP restrictions to help keep your practice secure. This feature allows your staff to access RXNT only from approved IP addresses within your practice, preventing access from outside locations like home.
