The Prescription Insights dashboard provides an overview of prescriptions, offering valuable analytics that enable your practice to make data-driven decisions. The dashboard allows you to filter by many categories and creates a report based on your filter selections.
Viewing the dashboard
Click Advanced Reporting.
You can also access the dashboard by clicking All.
Then, select the desired report from the Advanced Reporting column.
Select Prescription Insights from the Select a dashboard dropdown menu.
Understanding the dashboard
In its default state, the dashboard displays prescription data for all patients in the practice. However, the dashboard can be filtered by date, patient(s), voided or pending prescriptions, delivery status, authorizing provider or prescribing agent, pharmacy and drug class. Click the gray circle i icons throughout the dashboard to reveal helpful hints.
Select a date range for your data.
To search prescription data for a specific patient, enter their name or patient ID. To analyze prescription data for all patients, leave this filter blank.
Voided and pending status
In this field, set your criteria to search data by prescriptions in voided or pending status, or both.
In this field, set your criteria to search data by successfully delivered or failed prescriptions, or both.
Number of prescriptions
Review the amount of prescriptions falling within your specific set of categories.
Based on your set filters, check out the number of prescriptions by either Authorizing Provider or Prescribing Agent that fit your chosen criteria in the stacked bar chart. Use the dropdown menu to filter.
Based on your set filters, check out the number of prescriptions by pharmacy that fit your chosen criteria in the stacked bar chart.
By drug class
Based on your set filters, check out the number of prescriptions by drug class that fit your chosen criteria in the bar chart.
Further filter the rest of the dashboard by clicking on desired bars within any of the charts. In the image below, only three pharmacies are selected to review. Click Clear filter to return to all data.
The report will display all data fitting the criteria set by your filters. Add or remove columns from the report using the dropdown menu.
The dropdown menu contains additional filters (columns) not included above in the dashboard. These include:
- Doctor Group (Location)
- Date of Birth
- Rx ID
- Active Med ID
- Expected End Date
- Approved Date
- Fill Date
- Drug Name
- Days Supply
- Use Generic
- Pharmacy (Name, Address & Phone)
- Delivery Type
- Is Discharged
Export the report.
