A health summary gives you a straightforward overview of your medical information for a specific time period, pulled directly from your electronic health record. It brings together key details—like your conditions, medications, allergies, recent visits, and test results—into one easy-to-understand document to help you stay on top of your health. You can use your health summary to:
- Stay informed and involved in your care by seeing your diagnoses, medications, allergies, and recent visits all in one place
- Check that your health information is correct and spot anything that might need updating or fixing
- Get ready for upcoming appointments so you can feel confident when talking with your healthcare providers
- Keep track of changes over time in your conditions, treatments, and care plans
- Share important medical details with new providers, specialists, caregivers, or urgent care teams
- Help coordinate your care by making sure all your providers have the latest information
- Be prepared for travel or emergencies by keeping a copy handy Fulfill administrative or documentation needs for work, school, insurance, or personal records
View, download, or send your health summary
Tap on More on the dashboard navigation menu.
Tap Documents.
Tap the Health summary tab.
Just enter a start and end date to select the date range for your summary. Then tap Search. This will gather all the records from your provider within the dates you picked.
View
Tap View Health Summary.
The top portion of the health summary will include your demographics, your provider's information, and their practice location details. The bottom portion of the summary includes your detailed medical record, separated into sections. Tap < in the upper left to close the health summary view.
Download
Tap Download Health Summary.
Tap Copy Password to add the .zip file password to your device's clipboard. Your health summary will be downloaded to your device as a secure .zip file that requires this password.

Send by email
Regular email
Tap Email Health Summary.
Enter the recipient's email. Add a subject for the email, and a brief message. Tap Send.
Secure/direct email
You must have a secure email account in order to send your health summary this way. You can only send a health summary by secure email to another secure email account.
Tap Direct Email Health Summary.
Enter your secure email address and the associated password. This is the email address that the message will come from. Enter the recipient's secure email. Add a subject for the email, and a brief message. Tap Send.
