Create and Manage Procedure Macros

Create new procedure macros

Procedure macros are code groupings that act as shortcuts for your practice. These macros are also available for both providers and billers if they’re using our Charge Capture mobile application or our clinical Electronic Health Records system. 

The Procedure Macros screen offers the option to download data in CSV or PDF format. You can also sort columns by clicking on their headings; the first click sorts in ascending order, and the second click sorts in descending order. To revert to the original settings, simply click on Reset Grid. 

Click Utilities

Click Practice Setup and then Procedure Macros

Click +New Procedure Macro

Name the macro and enter the details. You can link CPT codes, modifiers, diagnosis codes, and units by clicking on the Green +.

CPT codes can only be linked to procedure macros if they have been saved as a favorite. 

Click Save

Edit procedure macros

Click Utilities

Click Practice Setup and then Procedure Macros

Click on the procedure macro Name

Edit the information and click Save
