What is a charge transaction?
Charge transactions represent the actual charges associated with a specific procedure code.
To access procedure codes
Click Utilities.
Click Practice Setup, and then click Procedure Codes.
To access the charge transaction setup screen, identify the procedure code for the charge transaction. If you do not see it on the procedure codes list, add it as a favorite.
Click on the blue + to the left of the code.
You will be taken into the Charge Transaction Code screen. You can attach additional information to a code, such as fee schedules, NDC codes, CLIA Lab, etc.)
