Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Users have the option to use an authenticator app for MFA. If you can't access your authenticator app at the moment, you can log in using a recovery code. If you don’t have the recovery codes provided during MFA set up, your practice administrator can provide one to you.
New users enabling MFA for the first time
To log in, please use the username and password provided to you by your Practice Administrator.
To proceed with your login, please set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Start by selecting Authenticator app from the dropdown.
To enable this MFA method on the same device, tap Copy Secret Key, then paste it into your desired Authenticator app. To enable this method on a separate device, feel free to open the authenticator app you prefer and scan the QR code provided.
Your authenticator app will then provide you with a verification code. Enter the code below, then tap Enable MFA to log in.
A message will now appear informing you two-factor authentication has been enabled successfully, and you will be provided with 10 recovery codes. Recovery codes are helpful when you're unable to access your saved MFA methods, like if you can't reach your mobile device.
Just tap Copy Codes to conveniently copy all 10, and remember to keep the recovery codes in a secure place.
The Copy Codes link will change to Copied!, indicating that all recovery codes have been successfully copied to your clipboard.
Existing users logging in with MFA
You can manage your MFA methods in Account Setup (web-based RXNT version only).
After your first login, your multi-factor authentication (MFA) method will automatically set to the last option you used for your previous login (either authenticator app or recovery code). Proceed by entering the code related to the last used method. To switch to another MFA method, please tap Try another method.
Select Authenticator, then Continue.
Open your linked authenticator app to view the code.
Enter the code below, then tap Verify to log in.
Select Recovery Code, then Continue.
Enter your recovery code below, then tap Verify to log in.
Where can I find my recovery code?
If you don’t have your recovery codes saved, feel free to ask a Practice Administrator at your office. They can generate a recovery code that is specific to your account and share it with you.
Passkey login
A passkey offers a secure way to log in without using a traditional password. It allows you to log in to your account using a compatible device with fingerprint, face recognition, PIN code, or password manager.
Using a passkey makes signing in to RXNT:
- Faster – No need to type in your password each time; simply use your fingerprint, face, or device PIN.
- More secure – Passkeys are harder to steal or guess than traditional passwords, helping protect your RXNT account.
- Easier to manage – You don’t need to remember or reset passwords, reducing login frustration.
Passkeys work with your device’s built-in security (like Touch ID or Face ID), making your login experience smoother while keeping your account safe.
Passkey setup
Once you've finished setting up MFA, you'll get a prompt to set up a passkey. If you prefer not to set one up, just tap Skip. If you want to avoid being asked again on this device, feel free to select Do not ask me again on this device.
To proceed with passkey setup, enter a passkey name. This name will help you recognize it later. After entering a name, tap Register. A passkey prompt will display natively on your device to set up the passkey.
RXNT does not recommend setting up passkeys on shared computers/devices.
You will see different options available depending on your device. For example, if you’re on a Windows computer, you may see options to use your computer’s fingerprint reader, Windows Hello, or your device PIN.
More than one passkey can be set up if you use multiple devices. You can add additional passkeys or manage your existing passkey in Account Setup. Click here to learn more!
