Denied/Left Open Report

Starting Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, A new Denied/Left Open Claims Report is now available. The report offers separate Denied and Left Open views with expanded claim, payer, provider, and encounter details, including claim events and rejection status information. Report data refreshes every 2 hours.

The Denied/Left Open report provides a detailed view of claims that have been denied or remain open, helping users monitor claim status, identify issues requiring attention, and support timely follow-up and resolution. The report is organized into two separate views: Denied and Left Open, allowing users to review each category independently and access relevant claim information.

Each view includes expanded details across multiple areas, including claim, payer, provider, and encounter information. These details provide greater visibility into individual claims and help users understand the context surrounding each claim's current status. The report also includes claim event history and rejection status information, offering additional insight into claim activity, processing outcomes, and potential issues that may require further investigation.

The report refreshes automatically every two hours, ensuring that users have regularly updated information to support claim review and monitoring.

Understanding the Report

The Denied/Left Open report organizes data into two separate tabs:

  • Denied: Displays information related to denied claims.
  • Left Open: Displays information related to claims that remain open.

Both tabs provide a variety of information to help users review claim details, encounter details, claim events, and rejection or denial statuses.

Report criteria summary

The report criteria selected when running the report will be displayed at the top of the report, allowing users to easily review the parameters used to generate the results.

The Denied/Left Open Report retrieves data from the data warehouse and refreshes every two hours. This change does not affect your data or report totals. The Data Synced Until section displays the date and time of the latest data update.
