Saving favorite pharmacies

When prescribing in the RXNT app, you can save pharmacies as favorites to make selecting them faster in the future. Favoriting commonly used pharmacies reduces search time and helps prescribers quickly choose the correct pharmacy when sending prescriptions. You can save as many pharmacies as you’d like as either provider favorites or patient favorites.

There are two ways to save a pharmacy as a favorite:

1. Through Pharmacy Search
   You can also search for a pharmacy and save it as a provider favorite, making it easier to find when prescribing in the future.
2. While Prescribing
   During the pharmacy selection step, you can save a pharmacy as a favorite for yourself (the prescriber) or for the patient you are prescribing for.

Pharmacy search

From the provider dashboard, tap the menu ☰ icon in the upper right corner.

Tap Pharmacy Search.

Use the search field to find a pharmacy by name. 

Additionally, tap the filter icon to apply filters to narrow your search. For example, if you set state and zip code filters and then search for CVS, the results will show only CVS locations within that zip code. 

Filters that you currently have set will be shown below and can be easily cancelled by tapping the X.

Tap the heart icon to add a pharmacy to your favorites. After that, a green confirmation message will appear briefly at the top of your screen to let you know the pharmacy was saved successfully.

How do I use my saved pharmacies?

When you’re prescribing, your Prescriber Favorites will show up on the screen during the Select Pharmacy step. Just tap a pharmacy, then the Set Pharmacy button to use it!

While prescribing

Patient favorites

At the Select Pharmacy step of prescribing, find the intended pharmacy and tap its corresponding star icon to save it as the patient's favorite. You can do this for as many pharmacies as you'd like. 

Once you select it, a message will appear to confirm your selection, and the star will turn blue and filled in to indicate it’s a favorite.

The favorited pharmacy will always appear in the Patient Favorites list unless deselected. If the patient has multiple favorite pharmacies, tap View All to see the full list.

Prescriber favorites

When prescribing, find the intended pharmacy and tap its corresponding heart icon to save it your favorite. You can do this for as many pharmacies as you'd like. 

Once you select it, a message will appear to confirm your selection, and the heart will turn blue and filled in to indicate it’s a favorite.

The favorited pharmacy will always appear in your Prescriber Favorites list unless deselected. If you have multiple favorites, they will display in alphabetical order. Tap View All to see your full list of favorite pharmacies.
