To get connected with a lab interface, follow the steps outlined here: Get Connected in Five Simple Steps. Once you've completed Steps 1 & 2, use the information below to seek approval from your lab or radiology partner(s).
To obtain approval from each laboratory or radiology provider you wish to interface with, you'll need to speak with the diagnostic service provider directly.
Quest Diagnostics
To comply with the Quest protocol, please fill out this form provided by Quest Diagnositics. Quest will evaluate your eligibility. Once approved, the implementation team will contact RXNT directly. When Quest Diagnostics is ready to move forward, they will issue a purchase order to RXNT, then our Integration Team will begin the interface setup.
Until Quest Diagnostics approves the interface, we cannot move forward with your request.
LabCorp
In accordance with LabCorp's protocol, you should contact your assigned LabCorp sales representative to express your interest in establishing an interface with RXNT. The sales representative will assess your eligibility, and upon approval, LabCorp's implementation team will directly initiate communication with RXNT.
During your interaction with your LabCorp sales representative, you may be asked to provide the following information:
- EHR Version: 8
- EDI Vendor: RXNT (Lab Exchange Node, Inc)
- LabCorp may ask about “results-only” versus “bi-directional.” All of RXNT's interfaces with LabCorp are “bi-directional,” meaning that from within your EHR, you will be able to send orders as well as receive results.
Your request will be on hold until LabCorp approves the interface. Unless you receive confirmation from LabCorp or RXNT, consider your interface as not yet approved.
All Other Laboratories and Radiology Providers
In order for RXNT to proceed with connecting your account to any other laboratory or radiology provider, please ask your laboratory to reach out to us at accounting@rxnt.com to request a pricing quote.
If your lab or radiology service provider has any technical questions about RXNT's interface capabilities, these are generally resolved with the FAQ for Labs.
- When your lab or radiology service provider is ready to move forward, they will issue a purchase order to RXNT, then our Integration Team will begin the interface setup.
- Until you receive status updates from us, please assume that your lab has not yet contacted us and that your project is not yet under evaluation by your lab. To expedite this process, we recommend speaking directly with your laboratory.
