Settings
In Settings, you can easily manage your Standalone Ambient IQ subscription, including:
- Adding a payment method for your subscription
- Changing the start date of your paid subscription
- Updating the payment method and/or address associated with your subscription
- Buying additional licenses
- Inviting other providers to use a license on your account
- Canceling your subscription
To manage your subscription, click the Settings gear, then Manage Subscriptions.
Here, review your current Renew Date, Renewal Frequency, and Free Trial Period.
Add payment method
To continue using Ambient IQ past your trial period, click Add Payment Method.
You may enter a Card as your payment method, click here to expand and complete the details.
Fill in all the payment method details, and don’t forget to enter your Zip Code below. The system will automatically fill in your country.
Please make sure the Zip Code and Country match the location where you are working. This should not be your payment method's billing address or your personal address.
Check the box to agree to the terms, then click Save Payment.
You will be redirected back to the Manage Subscription page, where you’ll find a confirmation message indicating that your payment method was saved successfully. The newly added payment method and its address will also be displayed above.
Change subscription start date
Since your payment method is set up, your paid subscription will begin automatically once your trial period is over. If you'd like to start your paid subscription earlier to enjoy unlimited ambient note sessions right away, you have the option to do so.
Feel free to check your subscription dates, and when you're ready to choose a start date for your paid subscription, simply click Change Start Date.
Please choose a date between today and the end of your trial. If you'd prefer to start today, just click Change to Today.
Accept the terms and click Change Start Date to confirm.
Change payment method and/or address
On the Manage Subscription page, you can use the Replace button to update your payment method, and the pencil icon to change your address.
Manage Licenses
On the License Management page, Admins have the option to:
- Buy additional licenses
- Invite users
- Remove licenses
From the Manage Subscription main page, click Manage Licenses within the License(s) row.
If you have available licenses, you can invite users to fill those open spots. If no licenses are available, you can purchase additional licenses at any time. You can also purchase additional licenses and invite new users simultaneously, assigning them to the new licenses as you add them. Use the tabs below for reference.
If you have any available licenses, feel free to invite users to fill those spots! Click Invite Users.
Enter the email address of the user you'd like to invite, then tap Enter on your keyboard, or click the + on the right. If you're inviting multiple users, repeat this until all email addresses are added.
The summary will indicate the amount of available licenses and how many users you are inviting. Click Invite User.
You’ll get a confirmation message letting you know the user was invited and assigned a license.
To buy additional licenses, click Invite Users.
Enter the amount of licenses you wish to purchase in the Purchase Extra Licenses row.
The summary will state you are purchasing a license or licenses to be assigned later. Click the Purchase License(s) button to confirm.
When you buy additional licenses, your payment method will be charged right away, and the amount will be prorated based on your account's renewal date.
You’ll get a confirmation message letting you know the licenses were purchased.
If you don’t have any available licenses, you can purchase more and invite users to join right away. Just click Invite Users.
Enter the email address of the user you'd like to invite, then tap Enter on your keyboard, or click the + on the right. If you're inviting multiple users, repeat this until all email addresses are added.
The summary will detail the number of users you're inviting and the number of licenses you're buying. Click the Purchase License(s) & Invite User(s) button to confirm.
When you buy additional licenses, your payment method will be charged right away, and the amount will be prorated based on your account's renewal date.
At this step, you also have the option to purchase extra licenses that can be assigned at a later time.
You’ll get a confirmation message letting you know the users were invited and the licenses were purchased.
Remove licenses
You can remove unassigned licenses anytime from the License Management page. If you have multiple licenses, you can remove all but one — the initial license is assigned to the Admin. To remove that final Admin license, you would need to cancel the subscription.
You can remove licenses whenever you need to, but please note that charges for removed licenses will still apply for the rest of the current billing month. We suggest making removing licenses near the end of your current billing month.
In the example below, the account has four licenses. Currently, only one is being used, and three are unassigned, so we'll go ahead and remove the three unused licenses. Remember, the remaining Admin license cannot be deleted unless the subscription itself is canceled. To begin, click Remove Licenses.
In this case, we enter 3 into the Number of Licenses to Remove field, then click Remove 3 Licenses.
A confirmation message appears indicating the 3 licenses were removed.
Unable to remove licenses?
If you have multiple licenses and the Remove Licenses button is disabled, it could be because there are still active users or pending invitations linked to those licenses on your account.
- To remove a license assigned to an active user, you'll need to deactivate that user first.
- To remove a license linked to a pending invitation, you'll need to revoke that invitation first.
Use the tabs below to learn more about each option.
Stay on the Users tab, then click the three-dot menu next to the user you want to deactivate, and select Deactivate.
Click Deactivate to confirm. Please follow these steps for any users you want to deactivate to free up space for removing licenses.
A confirmation message will show up informing you the user status has been updated. The status for that user will display as Deactivated, and the Remove Licenses button will now be clickable.
In this case, click the Invites tab.
Here, click the three-dot menu for the invitation you wish to revoke, then click Revoke.
Click Revoke Invite to confirm. Please repeat these steps for any invitations you need to revoke in order to free up space for removing licenses.
A confirmation message will show up once an invitation has been successfully revoked and its license is available again. The status for that invitation will update to Invite Revoked, and the Remove Licenses button will now be clickable.
Cancel subscription
On the Manage Subscription page, you'll see your account's status. If your account is active and you want to cancel, click Cancel.
You can cancel your subscription anytime you want. Just keep in mind that the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you'll still have full access until then.
Please read the confirmation message and if you still wish to cancel, click Cancel Subscription.
