Update payer information

Easily update the details for any payers to prevent claim rejections caused by incorrect information.

When to update a payer 

If you have received the following message after the claim scrubbing process is complete: “The payer ID for this claim is no longer valid. Please update the payer before resending the claim electronically. ”, follow the instructions below.

Click on the payer that needs to be updated.

Click RXNT Master Payer List.

Enter search criteria to find the most up-to-date payer information.

Click the search icon.

Choose the correct payer from the list.

Click OK

Click Proceed to update the payer information.

Click Save.

Click Cancel to stop the update from happening.

Impact of updating a payer

  • Any claims sent or saved after the payer information is updated will contain the latest payer information.
  • The updated payer information will not be reflected in previously sent or saved claims.
  • All payer updates are automatically applied to patients associated with that payer.
