Batch date in reports

The batch date column is added to the Transaction Journal report, Patient Ledger and Encounter report. Billing managers will be able to group encounters based on the batch date. They will also be able to run the data by the batch date in the Transaction Journal report and Encounter report.

Patient Ledger

Access the Patient Ledger anywhere from the system.

In this example, the Patient Ledger is accessed by clicking on the Ledger tab and entering a patient name in the pop-up.

Enter the Service From and Service To dates in the Patient Ledger report.

Click on Search.

The Batch Date column will appear in the report.

Note: The Batch Date will appear on the report when the View Ledger Report is clicked.

Transaction Journal Report

Click on the Reports tab.

Click on the Transaction Journal report.

Enter the Start date and End date in the Transaction Journal report.

Click on Run Report.

The Batch Date column will be displayed in the Encounters tab and Claims tab of the Transaction Journal report.

This report can be run by the Batch Date.

Select Batch Date in the Encounters/Claims drop-down.

Enter the Start Date and End Date.

Click on Run Report.

The data will now run by the Batch Date.

Encounter report

Click on Reports tab.

Click on Reports.

Enter the Report Period/Date To and Date From

Select the Report Type as Encounter Report.

Select the date type as Batch Date.

Click on Run Report.

This report is run based on the Batch Date.

Click on View Report.

The Batch Date column is present in the All tab and Encounters tab of the report.

Note: If the date type for the Encounter report is selected as Service Date/Billed Date/Created Date, the Batch Date column will appear in the All tab and Encounters tab.

AR report

Access the AR report anywhere from the system.

In this example, the AR report is accessed by clicking on the AR tab.

Enter the Date From and Date To dates in the AR report.

Click on Search.

The Batch Date column will be present in the Encounters section of the AR report.

This report can also be run by the Batch Date

Enter the Date From and Date To dates in the AR report.

Click on the Batch Date radio button.

This report will be generated based on the batch date.
