Restrict User Access

Restrict a user access to the Patient Ledger or Transaction Journal screens. Limiting user access to sensitive screens like the Patient Ledger or Transaction Journal is crucial for maintaining data confidentiality and security. By restricting access, providers can prevent unauthorized users from viewing or modifying this sensitive information, reducing the risk of data breaches, fraud, or unauthorized access. 

Restrict user access

Click Utilities
Click User Management and then Restrict User Access.
 

Select the User from the dropdown menu. 

Choose either the Patient Ledger or Transaction Journal from the Screen dropdown menu. 

Patient ledger screen

If you've opted for the Patient Ledger screen, you have the option to limit the Rendering Provider details. 

Click the Green+ button to specify limitations for individual rendering providers. 

Transaction journal screen

If you've chosen the Transaction Journal screen, you can select to narrow down the have the Place of Service, Rendering Provider, Scheduling Provider and/or Reference Source details.

Select the Checkmark next to each field you want to limit.  

Click the Green+ button to define restrictions.

Once you've completed the pervious steps, click Save
