Users can apply Patient Funds a few different ways.
1) Menu > Patient Funds > search patient name > select patient name > select "Apply Funds". If following this method, RxNT will automatically open a new patient payment with that patient name selected, the fund amount that the patient has to be allocated and "Patient Fund" as the method of payment. The user will then simply allocate the funds to the date of service, and line items needed > select "Save and Post".
2) Patient Payment (P-Payment) > New Payment > search the patient name > enter the amount of fund that needs to be allocated > select "Patient Fund" as the method of payment > allocate the funds to the date of service and line items needed > select "Save and Post".
3) Users may notice when attempting to print their statements, that a patient has a fund/credit on their account. This will need to be applied prior to sending the patient statement. To do this simply select on the fund amount shown on the statement screen, and follow the steps in bullet point one. Once the fund has been allocated, users can go back to their statement screen and select the "Update Statement" icon to generate a new, accurate statement for the patient.
